Sessions are $195. Most families invest $450 to $1,200 in finished artwork.
How It Works
Two parts, in order.
The session fee covers the making of the portraits. The artwork is chosen and purchased afterward, in person, once the images exist and we can see them at size.
Nothing is bundled in advance and nothing is guessed. You commit to the session, then you commit to the pieces you actually want. The experience page walks through all five steps, from the first conversation to delivery.
The Session Fee
$195, fully redeemable toward artwork.
Because it is redeemable, a family who orders artwork effectively pays nothing for the session itself.
The session fee includes:
- A pre-session consultation, to plan the session around your dog and the wall you have in mind.
- A 90-minute session, in the studio or on location.
- Retouching of the images you select.
- An in-person viewing appointment, where the artwork is designed and ordered.
It is due to hold the date. Whatever you spend on artwork, the $195 comes off the total.
Memorial and End-of-Life Sessions
$95.
Sessions for dogs with a terminal diagnosis, and sessions made through The Legacy Project, carry a session fee of $95. The studio charges less for this work because of what it is.
Everything else is unchanged: the same care in the session, the same craft in the finished piece, the same artwork prices. If this is your situation, say so when you write. That is all that is required.

Because the work is made for the wall, not for a folder. Prints, framing, and albums are the point of the portraits, and they are priced as what they are. Digital files are available on their own or inside a collection, and every collection includes the digitals for the images it contains.
You see the finished portraits presented at full size, and we design the artwork together: which images earn a place, how large they should be, and where they will hang. Orders are placed at that appointment.
Every selected image is retouched by hand before you see it, so the viewing is scheduled once that work is done rather than on a fixed conveyor belt. We set the date together, and you will know it well before it arrives.
The studio is in Burns and works throughout the Nashville area and Middle Tennessee. Sessions further out are considered one at a time. Write to me with where you are and we will talk about what it would take.
