Service Area
Nashville
Studio, environmental, and in-home portraits for Nashville families in East Nashville, 12 South, Germantown, Sylvan Park, Green Hills, and the Gulch. City dogs live in condos and small yards, and an in-home session keeps an anxious one on ground he already knows. Downtown sits about thirty miles from the studio and the drive is made regularly. More on how a city session runs is on the Nashville dog photography page.
Service Area
Franklin
Heirloom portraiture for Franklin and the rest of Williamson County, roughly twenty-six miles from the studio. Historic homes, deep porches, and the gardens behind them all hold light well in the last hour before sunset. Framed wall art and linen-bound albums are built to be handed down, and to age well in the rooms they hang in.
Service Area
Brentwood
Quiet, low-key portraits made for Brentwood interiors, about thirty miles east of the studio. Scale, palette, and placement are settled at the start, so a finished piece is sized for the wall it is going on rather than trimmed to fit afterwards. The black-and-gold style sits well in a neutral room.
Home Base
Dickson
Home base. The studio works out of Burns, in Dickson County, in the country west of Nashville. Scheduling is easier here, in-home sessions are simple to arrange, and many of the Hounds of Tennessee portraits begin within a few miles of the door.
Service Area
Bellevue
Bellevue sits between the studio and the city, about twenty miles out, which makes it one of the easiest bookings on the calendar. Wooded lots, the ground along the Harpeth, and quiet cul-de-sacs give an environmental session room to breathe without a drive into traffic.
Service Area
Fairview
Fairview is about twelve miles from the studio, close enough that a session can start at first light without anyone leaving home in the dark. Open ground and wooded lots around the town suit a dog who needs a few minutes to settle before the camera comes out.
Service Area
Kingston Springs
Kingston Springs and Pegram sit along the Harpeth, roughly twelve miles from the studio. River bottom, tree line, and low evening light make this some of the best environmental ground in the region, and it is a short drive from either direction.
Service Area
Ashland City
Ashland City and the rest of northern Cheatham County are about twenty miles from the studio. Farm ground, river frontage, and long open fields give a portrait a sense of scale that a fenced yard cannot, and in-home sessions here are straightforward to schedule.
Also serving Burns, White Bluff, Charlotte, Pegram, Vanleer, Cumberland Furnace, and the surrounding Middle Tennessee communities. Not sure whether you are in range? Just ask. The studio travels for the right portrait.
